Data Transmission Cables
Data cordsets provide the physical connection between field devices—such as sensors, actuators, and transmitters—and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). Featuring prewired molded connectors, these cordsets facilitate faster installation and reduce common wiring errors during data system commissioning.
Turck offers a comprehensive range of cables that support various Ethernet protocols (such as EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus, and EtherCAT) and CAN bus communications (including DeviceNet, Foundation Fieldbus, J1939, PROFIBUS – DP/PA), enabling high-speed data transfer between devices.
Available shielding options offer protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and high-power cables. The cables are fully compliant with ODVA, EIA/TIA, and IEC standards, ensuring global compatibility across devices. Turck's Ethernet cable type 444 is ITC-rated and approved for use in Class I, Division 2 (C1D2) hazardous environments when used with the compatible D-code M12 connectors.
